The influence of genotype and environment on factorial structure of traits “starting activity of α-amylase” in germinating seeds and “starting activity of β-amylase” in dry seeds of winter and spring barley were studied. It was shown, that starting activity of α- and β-amylases in spring barley seeds depends upon the influence of environment (34 и 25%), in winter barley - upon the influence of genotype (32 и 41%), and in both spring and winter barley - upon the influence of genotype-environment interaction.
