The paper presents the results of modeling the dynamics of ions in a radio frequency ion funnel, which is an element of the mass spectrometer input interface and is designed to collect and focus ions. The simulation was performed for ions of different masses depending on the angle of convergence of the funnel and the ratio of the thickness of the electrodes of the funnel to the distance between them. Under these conditions, the broadening of the output ion pulses is determined.
