The paper deals with the active processes of globalization in modern society which lead to a change in culture, the growth of pragmatic focus in the individual consciousness and the emergence of a new culture in the health sector. The research examines the opinions of scientists on the globalization process, its specific traits, the development of modern civilization and its impact on the personality. The study describes the present-day phenomena such as the acquisition of new social qualities by the physician’s personality, the loss of treating culture, the modification of moral consciousness and values of medical professionals. The decrease in medical culture is evident when providing medical assistance, imposing fee-based optional medical services on patients suffered from non-existent diseases. It results in financial losses of a patient and does harm to his health. These facts reflect social injustice towards a sick person. In conclusion, the issues of enhancing healthcare management are raised.
