The influence of the TRP on the patriotic education of young people: history, modernity and prospects

The study is relevant because of the current political situation in Russia, so patriotic education is important. The etymology of the word "patriotism" is considered. The historical information about the TRP in the USSR is presented, as well as the characteristics of the modern complex. The goals and objectives of the creation of the RWD, its pros and cons, as well as the proposed path of development and ways to increase interest in passing the RWD standards are reflected. It is concluded that the physical culture and sports complex "Ready for work and defense" (RWD) is a trend that increases the efficiency of people in many areas of life.
