Effect of immunomodulator bestim on the clinical flow of posttraumatic uveitis in the cases of penetrating eye wound

We studied the effects of the product in terms of relief of the inflammatory symptoms, the dynamics of visual acuity in the first month after the injury, the frequency of inflammatory complications to 1-2 months, the outcome of the uveitis flow after 1, 2, 3, and 4 months after the injury. It is established that the inclusion of the immunomodulator bestim in basic treatment of post-traumatic uveitis improved the clinical flow and outcome of post-traumatic inflammation, evidenced by the decrease to 14 and 30 days after the injury, the number of inflammatory symptoms as in the group as a whole, and in one patient; low frequency of development to 30 days and 2 months after the injury, inflammatory complications (of adhesions of the pupil, fibrosis of the vitreous body, traction detachments of the membranes, subatrophy of the eyeball), as well as development of complicated, protracted and chronic flow of uveitis. We noted the high frequency of uniform view to the 14 day and recovery through 1, 3, and 4 months after the injury.
