The article deals with the general problems faced by an industrial enterprise in the context of the entry of the world economy into the Fourth Industrial Revolution and the specific issues of implementing PLM class systems in this situation. The purpose of implementing the PLM class system in the activities of an industrial enterprise and creating a single information field of the company is determined, and the tasks necessary to achieve this goal are specified.
