Бесплатный доступ

The paper examines the impact of the knowledge available to the user about Level 2 driving automation systems on safe driving during their use. Driving automation levels from 0 to 5 are described in accordance with Russian and international standards, as well as examples of systems related to each of these levels. The purchase of cars equipped with such systems is influenced by various factors, such as awareness of the operation of the systems, gender and age characteristics of potential users, and even the name of the systems. The paper describes the problems associated with the lack of awareness of drivers of modern cars, describes the existing experience of learning to work with systems, and also provides examples of promising methods of driver training for more effective and safe interaction with electronic assistants, such as Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).
