The influence of institutional environment on the development of mergers and acquisitions in the financial markets in Russian Federation

The article discusses the institutional and economic features of mergers and acquisitions in Russia. Authors analyzed the impact of various factors on M&A transactions in developed and underdeveloped institutional environment. The article describes the features of the legislative regulation of mergers and acquisitions in Russia. The article concludes that it is necessary to modernize the institutional environment in order to increase the investment attractiveness of the Russian economy.
