The influence of the art of the Yamato period on modern design

This work examines Japanese painting of the Yamato period. The historical background of the appearance of the Yamato-e style is also analyzed. The analysis of the features of painting of this period of history, their relationship with other types of arts. The characteristic features of the Yamato-e style are determined. Special stylization, splashes of gold, an unusual approach to the construction of faces and figures. Such an exotic style is of great interest to contemporary art; the heritage of Japan does not cease to be relevant today.
