In the article, the authors analyze the changes in the economy and the conduct of business under the influence of the arrival of the fourth industrial revolution and provide examples of the impact of these changes on the consumer trends. The authors describe the essence of the new industrial revolution, which is more connected with the occurrence of megatrends, i.e. trends, in which several new forms are formed from each one previous form. During the revolution, start-up companies need to respond to several key changes, such as changes in consumer expectations, the quality of new products and services, partnerships, and operational model improvements. The authors describe how different companies have already found answers to these changes and how new trends affect the social sphere.
