The impact of cнаnges in consumer prices on the economic behavior of the population of Sevastopol

The article is devoted to the problems of the influence of prices on the economic behavior of the population of Sevastopol. The analysis of statistics for three years was conducted, according to the results of which trends in price changes in the city of Sevastopol were identified. The study argued the complexity of the population’s choice with rising prices. Changes in consumer prices led to the satisfaction of most basic needs. A scenario of economic behavior of the population from a change in the basic price index of goods and services is proposed. Attention is paid to the relationship between the two components of the price index. Consideration of two factors influencing the city’s pricing policy in the sphere of consumer goods made it possible to study the problem more deeply from the position of the population. Attention is also paid to the price index of industrial goods in Sevastopol. A comparison of the price index of industrial goods with the prices of consumer goods was studied.
