The article analyzes the impact of eco-labeling on the consumer preferences. The differences between the actual ecological brands and the brands of organic agriculture are revealed. The conclusion is made about the dependence of the effect of the type of labeling on the nature of agri-food products. The thesis of the growing demand for environmentally friendly products was confirmed, which acts as a factor in preventing environmental risks, protecting consumer health and a source of increasing the general and social benefits of producers.
