The research was carried out to study the effect of extruded feed on the milk productivity of black-and-white cows during the milking period in the conditions of Northern Kazakhstan. Chemical analysis of feed was carried out on an infrared analyzer InfraXact, Foss, and chemical analysis of milk was carried out on an infrared spectrometer CombiFoss FT+, Foss. Average daily milk yield was recorded once a month. In the extruded feed, the content of crude protein increased by 11,5%, digestible protein by 14,9%, and the starch content decreased by 79,5%. The use of extruded feed in feeding lactating cows contributed to an increase in milk productivity, so the average daily milk yield in the experimental groups increased by 9,2-14,2%, in addition, the milk fat content increased by 7,0-9,4%, compared to the control group. The highest milk production was in the Experimental II group - which, in addition to the main diet, received 1,5 kg of extruded feed. The economic benefits of using extruded feed in feeding lactating cows during the milking period amounted to 4940-7404 rubles from one cow for 60 days of lactation.
