We studied the reaction of soybean plants of cultivars Bars and Slavia to inoculation with strains 5/1 and 7p in comparison with the standard (Noctin A) on leached low humus heavy loamy black soil on the experimental field of the V.S. Pustovoit All-Russian Research Institute of Oil Crops (VNIIMK), Krasnodar. The aim of the research was to identify the nature of changes in the growth indicators of the aboveground vegetative biomass, roots and the development of the symbiotic apparatus on plant roots in two periods: the first - in the phase flowering-beginning of bean formation (June) and the second - in the seed filling phase (August). A significant increase in the aboveground biomass of plants was noted in the first observation period. The magnitude of the growth of the root system in the variants varied significantly. The number of nodules at the same period in variants with strains exceeded the control without inoculation. According to the indicators of the increase in the aboveground biomass, roots and the formation of nodules, we can conclude that the positive effect of inoculation depends on the plant's need for nitrogen at the stages of organogenesis...
