The studies were carried out in the Krasnoyarsk Region. The object of the study were rabbits of the Soviet chinchilla breed. Two groups of animals were formed using the analog pair method, each containing 10 animals, with individual cage housing, aged 85-90 days, similar in live weight. The rabbits were weighed on electronic scales. Torso length and chest circumference were measured using a measuring tape. The basic diet (BD) of rabbits consisted of meadow hay, potatoes, carrots, and table salt. In addition to the BD, the rabbits of the control group were fed the Delta Feeds compound feed, and the rabbits of the experimental group were fed Ushastik PZK 91. The animals of the experimental group exceeded the control group in absolute increase in live weight by 111 g, and in average daily weight gain by 11%, and in feed consumption by 6.5%. In the experimental group, at the end of the experiment, the torso length was on average 3.4% greater, the chest girth was 5.2% greater, and the blockiness index was 1.05% greater compared to the control. At the beginning of the experiment, the rabbits had an eirisomal constitutional type, and at the end of the experiment it changed to mesosomal, the blockiness index varied between 61-62%. In the experimental group, per 1 kg of live weight gain, feed costs are 15.8% lower, and feed costs are 24 rubles lower per 1 rabbit compared to the control. This means that it is economically profitable to feed rabbits with a diet containing mixed feed Ushastik PZK 91.
