The effect of blood plasma components on the process of skin wound healing (an experimental study)

The study results of determining the effect of the components of blood plasma taken from the donor dogs at distraction stage for limb lengthening according to Ilizarov on the healing process of skin wounds. The experiment was performed using 17 adult mongrel dogs in which a full-layered skin wound in the scapula area was produced. It has been revealed by histological methods that the use of the fraction obtained contributes to the reduction of healing periods and to activation of scar tissue reorganization to skin.
