The influence of conditioned ubiquitous overexpression of DNA repair genes, which are involved in damage recognition ( Hus1, mnk ), excision repair ( mei- 9, mus210, Rrp1 ) and double-strand break repair ( Brca2, Ku80, spnB, WRNexo ) on Drosophila resistance to different stress factors - oxidative stress (20 μM paraquat), heat shock (35 °C) and starvation was studied. It is shown that in most cases overexpression of DNA repair genes did not stimulate stress- resistance of Drosophila individuals. The results also demonstrate the important role of these genes in provision of stress-resistance of the whole organism.
