Feed additive "Agolin ruminant" impact on cows dairy productivity

The aim of research was to study the effectiveness of the use of the feed additive Agolin Ruminant and its effect on the milk productivity of lactating black-and-white cows in the conditions of LLC "Malinki" of the Mikhailovsky District of the Ryazan Region. The duration of the experiment is 60 days. Two groups of cows were formed, 15 animals each: the first group (control) received the main ration with the combined feed used by the farm; cows of the second (experimental) group received the main diet with an additive introduced into the composition of the combined feed gradually (at the rate of 500 mg Agolin Ruminant per cow daily). Productivity indicators were identified based on the results of every ten-day control milking. It was found that the milk yield of cows in the experimental group increased by more than 3.03 % (on aver-age) in comparison with the milk yield of cows in the control group. The milk yield per cow in the experimental group averaged 36.72 kg per day according to the results of the study, while the milk yield in the control group averaged 35.64 kg. The introduction of herbal supplement into the diet has a beneficial effect on the quality of milk. This was manifested in a decrease in the content of somatic cells and bacteria in the milk of cows from the experimental group. The indicators of protein and fat content in both groups as a whole according to the results of the experiment were comparable (protein – 3.17 and 3.15 %, fat – 3.7 and 3.72 %, respectively) in the average milk of cows in the control and experimental groups. The per-formed calculations confirm the advisability of using the mentioned additive in feeding highly productive cows. It was found that, taking into account the increase in productivity, the profit from the sale of milk received from the cows of the experimental group reached 577.24 thousand rubles. (at a selling price of a kilogram of milk of 26.2 rubles). Indicator is for more than 16.68 thousand rubles higher than that for the control group.
