Currently, due to the intensive introduction of innovative technologies in animal husbandry and an increase in milk production, an excessive functional load is observed on all organs and systems of the animal body, which is a consequence of deep metabolic disturbances in the body, resulting in premature rejection of animals with relatively high productivity indicators. Of particular importance are metabolic disorders, which are considered not as a disease of a particular organ, but as a disease of the whole organism. Timely and adequate corrective actions can help achieve the main goal of the agricultural producer, which is to obtain large volumes of high-quality milk from healthy cows. The execution of monthly analyses of milk in a centralized organization and practical use of the results achieved by international milk producers in implementing the strategy for the improvement of dairy herd can lead to additional tons of milk per year from one cow. In other words, this can be achieved while minimizing cases of clinical and subclinical ketosis due to a better control of herd health and milk quality...
