The influence of food additive on the organism of dairy stores

Food additive AlgaVet is suspension of bright green colour which contains alive biomass of a microalga Chlorella vulgaris which influences intestinal microflora positively, intensifies digestion processes, optimizes the physiological status of farm animals. It contains irreplaceable amino acids, protein, carbohydrates, desaturated fatty acids, vitamins and others biologically active materials; it leads to the improvement of accessibility of forages of the main diet, prevents violations of proteinaceous and educational function of a liver. The purpose of the work was to define the influence of food additive AlgaVet on organisms of healthy calves for its possible application by various diseases of a noncontagious etiology. To study the influence of food additive AlgaVet on organisms of healthy calves and its possible further introduction to schemes of treatment at various diseases, for example, at an iron deficiency anemia, we created 2 groups of animals at the age of 1-3 months of Holstein breed up to 10 heads in everyone. The test group of animals got AlgaVet food additive in addition to the main diet daily within 30 days at the rate of 60 ml per 1 head a day. The increase of the live weight of animals was considered by weighing after the application of food additive. The control group was presented by healthy calves who didn’t receive food additive AlgaVet with the main diet. During the research it was established that calves of the test group had a bigger average daily additional weight by 37.4% in comparison with calves of the control group. Hematological and biochemical research showed that the key parameters of blood of calves of the control and test groups were within normal limits. However, it should be noted that the quantity of the key hematological and biochemical parameters of blood of calves of the test group receiving the food additive AlgaVet to the main diet were higher than in the control group.
