In article impact of creative space on development of regional urban cultural environment in modern conditions is considered. Development of the cultural industries and the related branches depends on formation of urban cultural environment in regions: tourist, hotel, restaurant and other types of business. The main problem aspects of meeting the needs of the population in the leisure space are identified, the necessity of creating and popularizing the newest and most advanced forms in the field of cultural services is substantiated. Nowadays, a new branch of production is becoming popular -the industry of impressions, within which such kind of cultural services as creative spaces are rapidly developing: art spaces, creative clusters, art cafes, various loft projects, time cafes, co-working zones. Attempt to reveal and define creative space as new model of cultural institutions, and also to open features of formation of creative space in the conditions of urban cultural environment on the example of Tyumen was for the first time made. The conclusion that the role of creative space in life of the city will be defined by distribution of its influence and communications with surrounding society is drawn.
