Influence of forest vegetation on the state of small rivers in Tatarstan

Considerable decrease in forests areas, and also change of forests pedigree structure towards the reduction of coniferous and increases in long and derivative deciduous plantings at the territories of Tatarstan led to degradation of the small rivers basins that is expressed in reduction of reservoirs soil drain, and also reduction of number and length of water currents of I and II orders. In the last 50 years the tendency to increase the forests area (for 0,8%) due to cultures of coniferous forests that can have positive influence on a water mode of small rivers and delay the erosive processes around researches was outlined. However their insignificant age and low specific variety at the present stage don't allow to change a water mode of the territory significantly.
