The soil density and humidity and also the number of thin roots in thinned spruce stands of various ages have been investigated. The difference between strip roads and other territory in these characteristics last up to 20 years. The interrelation between investigated parameters is determined by habitat and ground vegetation. Dynamics of roots number restoration in the ground depends on spruce age.
