Impact of international labor migration on the Russian labor market

An essential factor determining the development of the situation on the labor market are the processes associated with the formation of labor resources, in particular, international labor migration. Theoretical and practical studies link the nature of the impact of migration processes on the economy of the host country with the complementarity or substitutability of foreign and local workers. As a result of the study, it was revealed that the impact of international migration on the Russian labor market is more positive, since the groups of immigrants and local workers are complementary.
