The article presents the results of the study (2021-2022) of meadow clover varieties of different maturity groups according to a set of economically valuable characteristics in the subtaiga zone of the Omsk region. The object of research was the widespread early-maturing Tarsky local (control) and new late-maturing varieties (SibNIIK-10 and Atlant) of the Siberian selection of meadow clover, entered into the State Register and recommended for cultivation in the West Siberian region. It has been established that meadow clover in the subtaiga zone of Western Siberia on gray forest soil has high productivity, especially when applying mineral fertilizers. The early-maturing double-crop variety Tarsky local has an increased yield of green mass, in total for two cutting it is 38.7 t /ha under control, and when N30P150K180 is applied, it increases to 45.7 t/ha or 18.1%. Late-maturing single-leaved varieties of meadow clover SibNIIK-10 and Atlant do not differ significantly in productivity among themselves, but they are significantly inferior to early-maturing Tarsky local. According to the yield of green mass in the control variant by 8.5-9.9 t/ha (22-26%), when applying N20P100K150 and N30P150K180 to collect absolutely dry matter by 25.3-27.7%, digestible protein - by 39.6-40.5 and ME - by 24.0-27.6%, than from similar variants of the Tarsky local variety. However, the payback of 1 kg of the active substance of fertilizers in late-maturing varieties of clover with a green mass is higher (23.7-28.1 kg) and at a lower dose (N20P100K150) than in early-maturing Tarsky local - 19.4 kg at a dose of N30P150K180.
