Influence of chemical kinetic models on numerical simulation results in the turbulent combustion flow

Бесплатный доступ

On the basis of numerical simulation of two classical experiments we analyze the influence of the chemical kinetics model on the structure and characteristics of the obtained flow when calculating these classes of flows. The first experiment deals with the high speed unpremixed combustion of hydrogen with stabilization due to selfignition, and the second with the slow premixed combustion of methane with stabilization at a step and the appearance of a diffusion flame wave. We make calculations using the ANSYS Fluent software. A significant effect of the kinetic mechanism on the three-dimensional flow structure and interaction of the kinetic model with the turbulent combustion model are shown.
