The article presents material on the use of a nanostructured water-zeolite suspension with a nanoparticle size of 60-120 nm for treating the surface of incubated duck eggs. Using scanning electron microscopy, images of the ultrastructure of the outer and inner surfaces of the shell were obtained on the ninth day of egg incubation. It was shown that the pores on the outer surface have a round-oval shape and sizes of 0.2-1 microns. The inner surface of the shell is a mesh of many intersected protein-mineral fibers with interstitial spaces measuring 0.2-2 microns. The resulting images visualize the ultrastructure of the shell and allow us to interpret the mechanism of penetration of nanostructured zeolite through the shell in ovo. It was established that the treatment of incubated eggs with an aqueous suspension of nanostructured zeolite caused an increase in the body weight of ducklings in early postnatal ontogenesis by 3.5 % or 22.1 g per bird compared to the control.
