The article analyzes heuristic opportunities of the concept of «methodological consciousness of scientists» in historical and scientific and the epistemological researches. It estimates the influence of the science concept (offered by T. Kuhn) on the understanding of the science image by V. L. Ginzburg and Yu. N. Efremov. The authors reveal the doctrinal and epistemological sources of the scientific conflicts which involved V. L. Ginzburg and Yu. N. Efremov.
