Mercury nitrate effect on low molecular weight peptide structure in rats’ tissues

Low molecular weight peptides’ composition of the liver, kidney, and muscles in rats daily fed with mercuric nitrate of divalent cation during 14 and 30 days was studied with the help of low-pressure liquid chromatography method. Alterations were found in all examined organs. Changes of high degree were observed in the liver and kidneys; significantly smaller deviations were registered in studied muscles. Sexual differences in reaction to mercury intoxication were revealed.
