The influence of the ear colour on the spring wheat yield and grain quality is studied on the basis of the developed sort analogues Krasnoyarskaya and Vetluzhanka. It is noted that the difference in productivity between analogues with the ear white and red colour is unreliable. The positive influence of the ear red color on the protein content, bread volume, flour strength and seed germination is revealed.
