The impact of organizational, economic and socio-pedagogical factors on digitalization of educational environments

Introduction. The article analyzes the problem of introducing digital technologies into the educational environment. The purpose of the research is to study the impact of organizational, economic, and socio-pedagogical factors on successful introduction of digitalization into school educational environments. Materials and Methods. The authors use the following research methods: analysis, systematization, questionnaires, analysis of statistical data contained in Rosstat and Vologdostat, analysis of environmental factors, SWOT analysis, and surveys. Factors of implementation of digitalization are identified on the example of schools of Moscow and Vologda regions. Results. The article studies the issue of digital technologies implementation into school educational environments in Moscow and Vologda regions, identifies factors affecting the digital equipment implementation in the educational environment, analyzes the strengths and weaknesses, opportunities and threats of digitalization within the analyzed fields. The factors affecting the digitization of schools are revealed. The authors conclude that in the field of education there is a significant potential for using digital equipment. The level of school digitalization in Vologda region is significantly lower than in Moscow region. The novelty of the problem under consideration consists in comparing similar processes of digitalization in two regions: Moscow and Vologda ones, as well as in clarifying the main factors affecting the rate of digitalization within school education environments. Conclusions. The study has identified advantages and disadvantages of school digitalization in both regions.
