Individual approach to learning is aimed to identify and develop the unique students' qua-lities. The degree of students' study success has to be estimated by a relevant assessment system. One of the most effective systems is the rating system. However, the amount of data needed to be evaluated causes difficulties in results' interpretation. The authors developed the associative models of pedagogical prognostics that allow to carry out individual predictions of students' study success. The paper discusses whether it is efficient to know the individual prediction data for the students. The authors claim that the forecast data which is methodically formed on the basis of associative predictive models about the students' possible education achievements might serve as an incentive to increase the individual student's activity and productivity of study process. The results show that the students that were aware of the individual results of pedagogical forecasting showed higher individual rating results in comparison with the students that were not informed about the forecast data.
