The pandemic accelerated the progression of information and digitalization processes, which in the economic sphere of public life led to the need for companies to quickly adapt to the rapid changes taking place in the external environment. At this point, a specialist in the sphere of personnel management needs to understand the importance, take into account the inevitability of the impact of the pandemic, and organize work processes to adapt to rapidly changing conditions. The article examines the impact of COVID-19 on the work of HR specialists. Special attention is paid to changes in their priorities, functions and tasks, as well as to the direction of Digital HR and automation of processes related to their professional activities. Conclusions are drawn about the significance of the pandemic for the sphere of personnel management.
