The article considers the influence of such phenomena as passionarity on the development of the economies of the countries of the world during various time intervals. The purpose of the article is to consider the significance of factors of passionarity in the economic context. The essence of such a phenomenon as passionarity, the given historical examples of the influence of passionary impulses on the development of the economy and the state, an attempt to reveal the relationship between passionarity and economic development are revealed.
