The results of studying the influence of soil herbicide triflureks EC (480 g/l) with the norm of 4.0 l/ha for the content of mineral nitrogen in soil, symbiotic nitrogen fixation, quantity and quality of yield of soybean. It was determined that triflureks, causing massive losses of annual cereals and some dicotyledonous weeds, improves productivity of soybean by 0.46 t/ha compared to the control without weeding. The quality of soybean (protein and oil content) had not changed. Triflureks EC (480g/l) does not only prevent the formation of tubercles on the soy roots, it also increases the nitrogen-fixing activity of spontaneous forms of Rh. japonikum and increases the mineral nitrogen content in soil, but that does not lead to further increase in soybean yield. The highest yield of soybean was obtained by joint use of triflureks EC (480g/l) and rhizotorfin on average for 2003-2005 2.58 t/ha (control 1.93 t/ha).
