Influence of weather factors on the productivity of perspective soybean lines in the unstable moisture zone

Based on the results of a 10-year observation, we presented data on correlations between the productivity of various soybean cultivars and varietal samples with weather factors, namely, with the dynamics of precipitation and changes in the temperature regimen during the vegetation phases. The assessment was carried out in breeding nurseries of a competitive and environmental variety testing at the Armavirskaya experimental station of the V.S. Pustovoit All-Russian Research Institute of Oil Crops. We observed the highest correlation between yield and precipitation in July and August: r = 0.62-0.72, which once again proves that soybean seed productivity depends on the conditions of heat and moisture in the phase of pod formation and seed filling. The productivity of early maturing cultivars depended to a greater extent on the precipitation amount of July (correlation coefficient r = 0.62), and middle maturing - on precipitation in August (r = 0.77). The temperature regime for all phases of vegetation had negligible effect on the productivity of the studied crop...
