Polymorphism of TP53 gene at exon 4 (rs1042522), intron3 (rs17878362), intron 6 (rs1625895) and XRCC1gene at exon 10 (rs25487) was studied for patients with non-small cell lung cancer and breast cancer who received neoadjuvant chemotherapy. Association of polymorphic alleles and genotypes with neoadjvant chemotherapy efficacy was investigated. Correlation between TP53 gene genotypes and DNA repair gene XRCC1 and neoadjuvant chemotherapy response of non-small cell lung cancer and breast cancer was shown for the first time on population of Siberia. The data obtained show that further studies are required to detect prognostic markers of neoadjuvant chemotherapy efficacy.
