Objective: to determine the relationship between adherence to treatment in patients undergoing penetrating keratoplasty (PKP) and corneal graft survival over a 12-month follow-up period. Material and methods. A retrospective analysis of 56 patients who underwent "high risk" PKP was performed. Patients were divided into 2 groups according to their compliance. The full compliance group included those with more than 90% of visits within the first year after the intervention; the poor compliance group included those with more than 10% of missed visits.
