The article examines the impact of changes in the state registration procedure on the financial results of enterprises in the medical industry. As a result of the analysis of profitability indicators and profitability of enterprises in the laboratory diagnostics sector, negative factors affecting the containment of the development of designated facilities were identified. The main obstacle to development at the moment is the state policy in the field of registration of medical devices.
