The impact of digitalisation processes on the development of critical thinking among university students

The article deals with the impact of digitalisation on the students’ ability to think critically. Such factors as the abundance of information sources, their accessibility, the speed of the appearance and distribution of news on the Internet are typical of the modern world. The paper describes the problems modern students face when analysing and processing the information they receive, as well as problems with formulating their own opinion. The article suggests methods allowing students to develop their critical thinking skills (such methods as debates, round-table discussion, discussion, Six Thinking Hats).
