The impact of digitalization processes on the social security management system of Russian society

The article is devoted to the consideration of theoretical and methodological aspects of social security as a special phenomenon of society’s life activity. The main approaches to the study of social security are revealed, the definition of this concept is given. The influence of digitalization on the transformation of socio-cultural processes associated with the formation of a new social environment is investigated, the dynamics of the digitalization process in Russia is revealed. The key processes of the influence of digital technologies on various spheres of society are identified and described, technical-economic, information-technological and social types of risks of digitalization are analyzed. Particular attention is focused on identifying objective and subjective social risks of digital inequality, which increase the polarization of the population and its stratification in the conditions of the formation of a digital society. The conclusion is made about the need for large-scale institutional transformations aimed at strengthening the social security of the Russian society, the directions for improving this activity in the conditions of the formation of digital reality are proposed.
