Positive attitude to the teaching profession

The article analyzes the attitude of students of a pedagogical university to their future profession. The main approaches to studying the problem of positive attitude to pedagogical activity are presented. Currently, there is a contradiction between the demands of the economy development, technology and territorial labor markets, as well as the long-term needs of their development, on the one hand, and the educational needs of citizens, on the other. This contradiction is expressed in the desire of young people to receive an "elite" vocational education and occupy professional niches, for which there is fierce competition, and many working specialties remain unclaimed, which causes some tension in the social division of labor.
