The report compares the behavior of the optical parameters of normal waves arising in a medium with spatial dispersion for a semiconductor material - the CdS crystal and the nanomaterial - silicene. It is noted that spatial dispersion should be taken into account when analyzing the reflection spectra near exciton resonance.
