The impact of protectionism on innovative development in crisis conditions

The article examines the state of the world and national economies in crisis conditions, which has developed in the field of implementation of mechanisms for innovative development. It has been established that with an increase in the share of intellectual labor, many enterprises create structural divisions responsible for supporting the development and protection of intellectual property. However, numerous crises stimulate government protectionism, leading to trade wars. At the same time, large-scale protection of national markets from imported goods and services is becoming commonplace. The negative consequences of this process have been analyzed and economically assessed for the United States, developed European and Asian states.
