The article presents the results of an empirical study on the influence of the psychological characteristics of students of different courses and specialties on the success of their university studies. The relevance of the study is due to the problem of improving the quality of education. To establish the reasons for the failure of students, it was revealed what psychological characteristics of students can affect the success of their studies.
