This article examines the influence of the psychological and pedagogical aspect on the development of physical health of people and the improvement of physical education. The article reveals the meanings of the concept of "psychology of sports", the history of its formation and development, as well as its subjects and tasks. The connection between physical culture and sports psychology is considered, as well as their combined influence on the formation of an athlete's personality. Special attention is paid to the role of motivation. The article reveals the problems of improving the culture of physical education of future specialists and instilling a healthy lifestyle in young people. Tasks for solving these problems are proposed. The article contains visual material that shows the percentage of respondents' opinions on the questionnaire; conclusions are drawn based on the results of the survey.
