Influence of publications in the media on the financial results of Russian banks (based on the example of Sberbank PJSC)

This article examines the extent to which media publications can influence the financial results of large Russian banks. A thesis has been formulated according to which they are positively influenced by the sheer number of publications in the media, regardless of their types. In order to confirm this thesis, a correlation analysis was carried out, which proved the existence of a direct linear relationship between the number of mentions of Sberbank PJSC in Russian-language media and the amount of its operating income for the period 2018-2022.
