The positive dynamics of the development of the agro-industrial complex in 2000-2019 is considered as a formed basis for regulating the negative trends and indicators of the development of agro-industrial enterprises in the conditions of the economic crisis caused by the pandemic. Violations in the transport and storage system are considered as negative factors affecting the activities of agro-industrial enterprises. The role of acceleration of food inflation caused by the devaluation of the domestic currency is assessed, the low level of purchasing power of the population is determined, which leads to a decrease in sales of agricultural products of high and medium price categories and an increase in the cost of sales. As a way to reduce the negative impact of the crisis, it is determined to reset import customs duties on consumable goods, for which the agro-industrial complex appears to be import-dependent. It is proposed to reduce procurement delays and increase the speed of logistics by introducing digital technologies for enterprises, including the use of online trading platforms and electronic exchanges.
