The influence of the development of the lease relations in the forestry complex in the Republic of Mordovia

According to the Forest Code of the Russian Federation authority to pass of forest lands in permanent use, rent, free use, and also the conclusion of contracts of purchase and sale of forest plantings are transferred to regions. Thus, how effectively and competently forest management is carried out within each region of the Russian Federation depends on the approaches chosen in the region to the implementation of the transferred authority, which not least affects the profitability of the forest industry. Therefore, despite the fact that the new organizational and economic mechanism of forest management, proposed by the Forest Code of the Russian Federation in 2006, has been in force for more than 10 years, there is a need to improve lease relations. The development of lease relations had a significant influence on the development of forestry and forest industry of the Republic of Mordovia.
