The impact of information technology on English language

The article is devoted to the analysis of changes in modern written and spoken English because of information technology in the life of society. The aim of the work is to study the impact of the IT sphere on the English language. Outstanding characteristics of influence on the language at the lexical, morphological, phonetic and syntactic levels are investigated. Particular attention is paid to the transformation of the language in the Internet.
